Fisheye Lens
Tags: fisheye lens
A fisheye lens is an extreme wide-angle lens that is capable of showing an angle of view close to 180°. Shots taken with a fisheye lens are always considerably distorted. It produces images that appear obviously artificial.
In some films, fisheye lenses (or reflective decoration elements and props that produce a similar effect) are part of the mise en scène, i.e. door peepholes, curved mirrors, etc.
