The New Rock n’ Roller Wheel Sets from Matthews Studio Equipment are set to be a hit with all of you gaffers, grips and DITs! This latest offering from Matthews Studio Equipment gives you the opportunity to roll equipment instead of picking it up.
With an equally cool name, the Rock n’ Rollers (with Bob Seager kicking in when we say it), have been designed with input from DITs, Steadicam ops, grips and gaffers and are compatible with all Matthews Combo Stands and also any stand with a 1” square tube leg. And the process of installing them couldn’t be easier! Simply slip them on and tighten the Matthews’ proprietary Spring Steel Sleeve and you’re ready to go!

Matthews Studio Equipment have made the Rock n’ Rollers out of foam semi-pneumatic tires, 3” wide x 8” diameter that “won’t go flat, keeping your movements smooth and easy” and can “roll smoothly over rocks, power cables, cable cross-overs, gravel, asphalt, uneven concrete, and soft grass.”

The face-locking pedal brake features an adjustable pad, a dual-lock mechanism and a round top plate that keeps pointy corners out of the way when engaging and disengaging it.

No matter what you want to transport around the set, be it a Flanders’ Scientific monitor or an 18K, the Rock n’ Rollers come in three versions to suit every situation; the Monitor Wheel Set pairs with the Monitor Stand II and Slider Stands.
For Matthews Combo Stands or any stand with a 1” square tube leg there’s the combo stand set and these come in really handy when moving the large lights like 18Ks for recreating the sun. For those of you wanting to use the Rock n’ Rollers with larger stands, The Mombo Combo set is compatible with 1-½” square tube leg stands.
