Find Music FASTER – Musicbed’s New Features
Musicbed has been my go-to resource for music for all our educational videos since our inception. Before Musicbed we’d have to spend hours upon hours looking for the right music track only to be either underwhelmed by the selection or blown away by the price, but in both scenarios, searching for the right music was always a slog. Then Musicbed hit the scene. What Musicbed did was create a platform that bridged the gap between talented artists in two different but inextricably linked fields by making the process of searching easy. And now, with the release of their new site, they’ve completely reset the bar for your music search.
They’re doing that with their new Innovative Browse and Search feature.
NEW FEATURES
There’s so much to talk about, let’s break down some of the key new updates.
The integrated browse and search is my favorite! The biggest change? You now have an ‘Include’ and ‘Exclude’ option! That’s huge when trying to narrow down your search because filmmakers can get very specific with what we want, or don’t want.
The new filter tool lets you search using Song Build, BPM, Vocals, Length, and lyrics among many more options. When you’re looking for instrumentals in your search, this is perfect for axing out vocals. Or, if you want to get really specific with it, you can search for classical music, minus the piano, add a tuba and a french horn, at 120 beats per minute, and keep trimming down your search to your heart’s desire.
Speed and accessibility are essential when trying to find the perfect song, and Musicbed’s new platform absolutely dominates with its sleek design and various attributes meant to make your experience that much better. These new features, workflows, and even the new checkout process are just some of the things that are going to make your life easier. And with over 700 world-class artists, you have a ton of great music to choose from, but it doesn’t feel overbearing or insurmountable like it often does with other suppliers. The great thing about this new design is the ease of finding what you’re looking for, but while still having a lot of great options in music.
MY NEW PLAYLIST
After years and years of perfecting my Musicbed playlist, they are now displaying some of my personal favorites on the Shane Hurlbut, ASC Playlist. Now, that’s pretty kickass! I’m sure many of you will recognize many of these songs from our videos. All the beats, melodies, and rhythms that really amp up our content can be found here! We’re talking artists like Ryan Taubert, who really bring it! And we’re going to be adding to this list on a pretty consistent basis, so be sure to check back in the future!
