Setting your RED Dragon Sensor Up for Success with the Correct IR Neutral Density

RED Dragon 8K Sensor

On my recent project we began shooting on the RED Weapon and we will continued to use the Dragon alongside the Weapon. The look and feel of this project is to have unique tones, gold, cyan, hyper white, etc. and through our tests, we found that the Dragon with its new OLPF Skin Tone filter could deliver this exact look in spades. The next thing I needed to test, even before a lens, was how we were going to deal with the IR pollution problem. I knew I had a ton of day exteriors in this show and tons of greens, everywhere. I love to find the project’s soul, how she will breathe, run, jump, emote, etc. This is done with extensive tests of your brushes. You have to find the correct IR neutral density filter!
