Looking Back at Creating the Illumination Experience Tour

As I look back to mid 2014, I think about how far Hurlbut Visuals has come. We created and launched Shane’s Inner Circle, re-designed the Hurlblog and began creating the curriculum for the Illumination Experience Tour.

Lydia and I always wanted to do more hands on education after our first HDSLR Boot Camp back in 2010, but my schedule shooting commercials and feature films just didn’t allow for a block of time to devote more than a week or two so that I could go around the country and create something completely immersive on the Art of Cinematography.

It is personal for me; it is intimate with me. I care about what type of filmmaker you will become.

Many of you have asked me when I am going to do another educational tour. My answer is still unknown, but Lydia and I are exploring ideas of what time frames work best for our careers and our family.
