The Illumination Tour wasn’t coming to my area so I booked a flight to Vancouver so I wouldn’t miss the opportunity to take this workshop. I’m excited to say the least! The course looks fantastic. See you in Van!

Shane you are all class. A master teacher who loves what he does and wants to share with enthusiasm and fully focused.
It’s great when someone can get you excited about lighting and fire up the whole room. Thank you for sharing your skills.
The Vancouver tour was great and I hope to review the films you have worked on and study how you light.
    Take care.

Shane, Lydia, and crew…thanks for your tireless effort to make each and every one of us feel extra special. I know how grueling these three months has been to all involved. The last stop I attended had the energy as if you guys had just started. To the sponsors that brought with them their toys and and expertise, I thank you. You have heard it many times before, but let me say your approachability was what sets you apart. Your crew members are the backbone of this experience as many times that they had been fired and hired.

    Until next time . . .

I also want to thank Shane & Crew for a great workshop @ Delfino! Everyone was very approachable and willing to explain things when asked. I left with some great experience and some new ideas to try. The evening at Technicolor was a fantastic bonus. Thanks again!

No, we are not doing another IE Tour in 2015. The only way left to experience it would be to purchase the downloads in the store.

Is there a reason why there won’t be a tour in 2015?
Would I get the exact output by watching the video ?

    Thank you!

Kevin, I cannot do a tour like this every year as it conflicts with my shooting schedule with feature films and commercials. This is something that my team and I will revisit in the coming years, but the last time I did an educational event was in 2010 and it was only in Los Angeles. The videos capture everything that I did on the tour and are extremely valuable, I’m certain that you will learn a ton if you watch them.
