The Cine Gear Expo has served as a launchpad for filmmaking equipment and advancements since 1996. As filmmaking professionals, it’s the ideal setting to get your hands on gear, learn about new services, and network with your peers.
This year, Cine Gear returns to Paramount Pictures Studios on Melrose. Filmmakers Academy will be in attendance at the CineMoves Booth, numbers 98 & 100, outdoors on New York Street.

WHEN IS CINE GEAR LA EXPO 2023?
The 2023 Cine Gear Los Angeles Expo takes place from June 1st through June 4th, featuring exhibits, new products and services, complimentary seminars, master classes, awards ceremonies, and networking opportunities.
Location: Paramount Pictures Studios, 5555 Melrose Avenue, Hollywood, CA 90038
If you’re attending, be sure to wear comfortable shoes as there will be a lot of walking. Also, you may want to bring water to keep hydrated in the summer heat. Note that all bags are subject to be searched by security personnel; i.e. purses, backpacks, etc.
Exhibit Hours:
- DAY 1: Film Competition and Technical Awards
- DAY 2: Friday, June 2, 12:00 noon – 8:00 PM
- DAY 3: Saturday, June 3, 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- DAY 4: Master Classes
Electronic message signs will be located in front of each entrance. In order to alleviate traffic, cars will not be allowed to turn left into any structures, so please plan accordingly. For example, only southbound traffic on both Gower Street and Van Ness Ave. will be able to turn right into the respective structures.
GO TO LA EXPO FULL SCHEDULE
Shuttles will be available to transport guests from the Gower Parking Structure and Hollywood Forever Parking to the expo entrance. The Van Ness and Lemon Grove structures, as well as the shuttle stop between these structures, are within walking distance to the Van Ness Expo guest entrance.
The main Entrance and Registration are at the Gower Gate. Registration opens 1 hour before the show opens.
