On a feature right now shooting on the beautiful island of Ischia with one of my favorite directors Gabriele Muccino. We are shooting in all kinds of situations and, as always, I’m able to turn to Freefly to let my creativity and ingenuity soar. This time, I’m getting to test the limits of their 360° capabilities!
This time we’ve strapped the MoVi XL to a faux plank of wood that’s been ratchet strapped to the bottom of a car for a quick and dirty car rig. One of my crew members, Vito Custodero, has been gracious enough to set up a 360° rig to give you a first hand account of what it’s like to ride along on this awesome camera rig. If you can’t tell, we’re having all kinds of fun on this shoot.
